This section contains packages backported from Ubuntu Edgy (6.10).

You can use apt to download and install the packages. Use the following lines in /etc/apt/sources.list and use the command sudo apt-get update to enable downloading from this component.

Conky is a system monitor for X originally based on the torsmo code.
Since its original conception, Conky has changed a fair bit from its
predecessor. Conky can display just about anything, either on your
root desktop or in its own window. Conky has many built-in objects,
as well as the ability to execute programs and scripts, then display
the output from stdout.

  • Dapper backport.
  • debian/control:
    • Downgrade Standards-Version to 3.6.2
    • Downgrade evolution-dev to (>= 2.6.1)
    • Remove Depends: evolution (>= 2.6.2) since it is automatically added byshlibs.
  • debian/rules:
    • Change evolution version (2.8 -> 2.6) in directories names
    • Add fixrpath script to disable RPATH.
